Step-by-Step Filter Cleaning Guide
Step 1: Preparation
Turn off the dishwasher and ensure it's cool. Remove the bottom rack to access the filter assembly at the bottom of the tub.
Step 2: Remove Filter Assembly
Turn the filter cylinder counterclockwise to unlock it. Lift the entire filter assembly straight up and out of the dishwasher.
Step 3: Disassemble Components
Separate the fine mesh filter, coarse filter, and flat filter components. Most Bosch models have a three-part filter system.
Step 4: Clean Filters
Rinse all filter parts under warm running water. Use a soft brush to remove stubborn debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Step 5: Clean Filter Housing
Wipe the filter housing in the dishwasher bottom with a damp cloth to remove any remaining food particles or debris.
Step 6: Reassemble & Replace
Reassemble filter components in correct order. Insert back into housing and turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
