Filter System Components

Filter Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Clean cloth or sponge
  • Mild detergent
  • Soft brush
  • Container for water
  • Rubber gloves

Step-by-Step Filter Installation

  1. Prepare the Dishwasher: Ensure the dishwasher is turned off and completely cooled down before beginning filter maintenance.
  2. Remove Lower Rack: Pull out the lower basket to access the filter system at the bottom of the dishwasher tub.
  3. Identify Filter Components: Locate the main fine filter, coarse filter, and flat filter components in the sump area.
  4. Remove Filter Assembly: Turn the main filter counterclockwise to unlock and lift it out carefully.
  5. Clean Filter Components: Rinse all filter parts under warm running water to remove food particles and debris.
  6. Reinstall Filter: Place the filter back into position and turn clockwise until it clicks into place securely.
  7. Test Operation: Run a short rinse cycle to ensure proper filter installation and no leaks.
Warning: Regular filter cleaning is essential for optimal performance. Clean the filter at least once a month or more frequently with heavy use.
