Standard 24-Inch Built-In

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening is 24 inches wide and 34-35 inches high with proper clearance for water and drain connections.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective packaging, tape, and shipping bolts from the dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve using new braided stainless steel hose.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose through cabinet opening and connect to drain line with high loop to prevent backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit. Hardwire according to local electrical codes.
  6. Position Dishwasher: Slide dishwasher into cabinet opening, ensuring it's level and plumb.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  8. Test Run: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dishwasher won't start Power issue, door not latched properly Check circuit breaker, ensure door is fully closed and latched
